Kate Maddison has extensive experience of designing and creating art for the public realm and in planning and managing the installation of public art. She regularly works in collaboration with architects, landscape architects and structural engineers. In her work with Chrysalis Arts she has led many award winning projects and is involved in the development of the PASA guidelines and Slow Art. Kate can lead community consultation in regeneration projects, landscape and architecture schemes. She has pioneered workshop techniques to involve participants of all ages and abilities in designing and creating public art.

Proposal for a sequence of wind activated artworks on four roundabouts on the A228, Medway by Kate Maddison for Chrysalis Arts. The design proposal was commissioned by Medway Council.
